Knoydart Lodge is apporximately a 15 minute walk from Inverie Village where you will find the pier, Post Office, Knoydart Pottery & Tearoom, The Old Forge pub, Knoydart Foundation office & other amentities & services. A two minute walk from the lodge takes you to Long Beach which is the perfect spot to take in a summer sunset or walk the dog. With views out of Loch Nevis towards the isles of Sky and Rum, and the backrop of Glen Dublochan & Glen Meadall it's also the perfect place to get your camera out and capture the stunning varied landscapes that surround.

By Boat: The KnoydartWestern Isles Ferrysails serveral times a day, every day, between the fishing village of Mallaig to Inverie and Tarbet in Loch Nevis.*Pedestrians only *The transfers take between 25 - 40 minutes depending on the boat you catch. By Foot: There are many routes into Knoydart, with the most popular starting a Kinlouchhourn, Glennfinnan or Glen Dessary. If you are interested in walking in we reccomend you contact theKnoydart Foundation Ranger Service, who are able to provide help and advice on what can be an arduous trek. There is no mobile phone signal at the Lodge or in Inverie Village, however there is free WIFI at the lodge.
